Blackberry Individual Solution (BIS)
Is a service that allows users to send and receive emails while away from the computer. The BIS receives emails forwarded from an ISP account and forwards them to the Blackberry handheld device (and vice versa) so users can send, receive, forward and reply to messages while they're out and about. The BIS service price encompasses unlimted email and unlimited browsing (when using the Blackberry Browser).
Blackberry Enterprise Server Solution (BES)
A complete wireless, encrypted, real time business solution for mobile professionals. The combination of the Blackberry handset or compatible handset together with BES software creates 'push' technology, allowing emails and calendar updates to be received automatically without the need to dial in or for desktop synchronisation. Blackberry Individual Offer - all customers that subscribe to the BES also get access to the BIS too at no additional cost. This means that not only will customers receive work/company email on their Blackberry handset, they can also link up to 10 personal email accounts to their handset (eg Gmail, hotmail, yahoo, Bigpond, Pop3 mail server on the internet).
Whereis(R) Navigator
The convenient and easy to use turn by turn voice navigation if customers travel to new places daily, or occasionally need directions while they drive. With simple one off subscription charges, custsomers can receive automatic re-routing if they miss their turn and need to detour, view points of interests powered by Whereis (R) maps, and all delivered super fast via Telstra's Next G (TM) Network.
Telstra Mobile Payments
A secure and simple way for businesses to get paid quickly, in more places. It allows businesses to process customer payments via credit card, charge card as well as Visa and Mastercard debit cards at the completion of a job using compatible Next G (TM) mobile phone and compact card swipe device, called the T-Pad. Transactions are processed using the T-Pad in conjuction with an application downloaded to a compatible Telstra Next G (TM) mobile handset. A customer receipt can then be issued via SMS/email from the applicatition.
Wireless Telemetry
A machine to machine communications where a remote machine is monitored or controlled by a central service/device. Wireless Telemetry is when the newtork link between the two machines has a cellular network component being GPRS, 3G or Next G (TM) networks.
Navman
The Navman OnlineAVL solution also enables customers to access a website (operated by Navman) where customers can view certain information about the performance, location and movements of their In Vehicle Devices. The functionality available to customers via this website depends on the service option selected by the customer and the hardware installed in the customer's vehicles. Customers can select one of the following Navman OnlineAVL Solution service options:
- Navman Vehicle Tracking
- Navman Mobile Communication
Xora Time Track
A wireless business tool that enables enterprises to manage field worker productivity, by capturing critical field data, including job activity, timesheets and location. Back at the office, this information can be viewed via easy to use web based management tools, including maps and reports. Beacuse Xora Time Track Solution allows customers to use the location capabilities of a properly configured and compatible mobile device to transmit the location coordinates of that mobile device over the GPRS, 3G or Next G (TM) network to a server operated by Xora. The functionality available to customers via this website depends on the service option selected by the customer, and the hardware installed in the customer's vehicles. Customers can select one of the following Xora Time Track Solution service options:
- Xora Time Track Lite
- Xora Time Track Business Plus
- Xora Time Track Gold
The Xora Time Track Solution is available on a casual month by month plan or 12 month contract.
Wireless Hotspot
Allows customers to use a laptop or PDA to access the Internet at one of our wireless hotspots without physically connecting a phone line to the laptop or PDA. Telstra Wireless Hotspots provide broadband wireless speeds and can be found in selected locations nationally.
