Satellite
On and from 31st December 2008, Telstra will be exiting a number of its 2 Way Satellite plans. All plans are Satellite broadband access products used by customers in regional and remote areas. Both upload and download is direct via a Satellite up link and down link.
Bigpond Security
A one stop solution for all Bigpond customers. This will include subscription to security programs such as desktop anti virus, email anti virus, antispam, spyware filter, firewall, content filtering, anti phishing and privacy protection solutions. Customers will be able to subscribe to the offer below, 12 month contract term with 2 payment options:
- $99.95 upfront payment for a 12 month subscription which will include the 13th month free, and 60 days FREE trial, or
- $9.95 PAYG monthly charge (minimum spend over 12 months is $119.40), after the 60 days FREE trial. The customer's credit card details are collected during sign up, but no charge is deducted until the expiry of the 60 days FREE trial. With the introduction of the Bigpond Security Bundle, the individual security products currently on the market will be no longer be sold to new customers.
